Neurodivergent Filmmakers
Ode to Them open calls are designed to create meaningful opportunities for artists, writers and image-makers across disciplines. We review every submission with care and welcome experimental, emerging and established voices alike.
Ode to Them turns two!
To celebrate two years of Ode to Them, we’re inviting neurodivergent filmmakers and moving-image artists to submit work for a special screening in collaboration with Theatreship, London.
The evening will bring together artists and audiences through film - sharing stories, exploring different perspectives and celebrating the creativity of our community.
We welcome emerging and established artists, including those who self-identify as neurodivergent. A formal diagnosis is not required.
What can you submit?
We welcome experimental film, documentary, animation, video art, essay film, fiction, performance and artist film.
There is no set theme. We’d love to see work that reflects your interests, ideas and ways of seeing the world.
Maximum running time: 15 minutes, including credits.
Selected works will be screened aboard Theatreship in Canary Wharf, London, on 15 November 2026.
Artists may also be considered for future Ode to Them exhibitions, events, editorial features and collaborative opportunities.
